ZEE Punjabi confirmed to launch on Sky in July
ZEE Entertainment Enterprises Limited has confirmed its plans to launch ZEE Punjabi on the Sky platform this July.
As revealed on BizAsiaLive.com earlier this month, ZEE Punjabi will initially be available to Virgin Media customers from Monday 1st July, this will be followed with a full satellite launch on Thursday 25th July.
ZEE Punjabi, when it relaunched in 2020, broke ratings records with its slew of Punjabi dramas, reality shows and films. The channel was originally started in 1999 as Alpha TV Punjabi, but was later shut down.

At the time of its relaunch, led by legend Gurdas Maan, the channel unleashed 13 original shows with stories inspired by Punjabiyat. The content includes classic love story of ‘Heer Ranjha’, music reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ featuring Gurdas Maan as mentor and Jazzy B, Sonu Kakkar & Jaidev Kumar as Judges, a skit based comedy show ‘Hasdeyaan De Ghar Vasde’ with Gurpreet Ghuggi as the host.
ZEE Punjabi will be available on Sky channel 769 and on channel 811 on Virgin Media.
