Star Plus’ ‘Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do’ axed

Star Plus’ recently launched series ‘Dil Jaise Dhadke Dhadakne Do’ has been axed amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The show helmed by Mahesh Bhatt, was on the verge of introducing a leap, which would have welcomed a number of new stars into the show, including Ashi Singh.

The actress was cited in TellyBuzz saying, “To be honest, I was not too shocked because I knew there are shows suddenly going off-air everywhere but yeah it was very disheartening as I couldn’t even start shooting for it. I was excited to work again and I liked the storyline too but unfortunately didn’t work.”

In a previous conversation with BizAsiaLive.com, Singh had confirmed that she was expected to shoot from 15th March but was put back due to the lockdown.

Producer Gurodev Bhalla added, “Yes, unfortunately, it’s true but our strong association with Star team continues as we are doing a few new projects with the network. They should come out very soon.”
