Special Feature: Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss’ look over the years
The “bhai” of Bollywood made his debut on ‘Bigg Boss’ as a host during season four of the Indian reality TV show in the year 2010. Salman Khan has hosted many super successful years of the ‘Big Brother’ franchise so far.
His star power and magnetic charm has had the audiences glued to their TV sets since a long time not just in India but overseas too.

‘Bigg Boss 4’
In this season of the show Khan’s style of clothes remained casual. He was usually seen sporting denims and T-shirts in various colours paired with a chic jacket or a shacket.
‘Bigg Boss 5’
The fifth season of ‘Bigg Boss’ was slightly different since actor Sanjay Dutt joined his close friend as the second host on the show.
The ‘Wanted’ star donned two kinds of clothes mostly during this season. One completely casual and the other where he appeared in semi-formal clothes. A velvet jacket specifically paired with a dark colour shirt and denims worn by the actor in an episode looked very impressive.
‘Bigg Boss 6’
“Bajrangi Bhaijaan” looked more dapper than ever before while hosting this season of the show. He opted for suits made of eye-catching hues and fabrics.
‘Bigg Boss 7’
Khan chose a style where he paired shirts in contrasting colours and patterns with his suits.
He preferred dark colour clothes often and looked suave in them.
‘Bigg Boss 8’
For the premiere episode of ‘Bigg Boss 8’ the handsome hunk was dressed in a pilot’s uniform. For the subsequent episodes he was seen in stylish clothes similar to those that he had worn during the previous years on the show. On some days he wore suits, on some other days he went for a semi-formal look . His stylish jackets certainly added a good variety to his existing style statement.
‘Bigg Boss 9’
There was a surprise in store for the hero’s fans during this season of ‘Bigg Boss’. The “Sultan” of Bollywood appeared in a crew cut. He looked beefed-up as well. Apart from this he also sported a moustache. He went for a mix-and-match style in clothes.

‘Bigg Boss 10’
Khan returned to his clean-shaven look and usual hairstyle for this particular season of the TV show. The audience got to see him in traditional outfits during occasions like festival special episodes. On remaining days he styled himself in suits often.
‘Bigg Boss 11’
“SK” changed his look for ‘Bigg Boss 11’. The star looked rugged in a beard and moustache. He paired jackets in varied colours with denims and T-shirts in most of the episodes.
‘Bigg Boss 12’
Khan’s French beard and jazzy jacket paired with an all black outfit stole the show when the premiere episode of ‘Bigg Boss 12’ aired. Khan looked very different in his new look. For the rest of the season he continued to sport a style of clothing drawing inspiration from outfits worn by him in the previous seasons of the show.
‘Bigg Boss 13’
This season of ‘Bigg Boss’ was all about keeping it sophisticated and debonair for the “Blockbuster Khan”. He made pocket squares and suits look more desirable with his irresistible style.
‘Bigg Boss 14’
“Tiger Salman” sported a thick beard and moustache during this season of ‘Bigg Boss’. He got styled mostly in standard suits during the episodes that featured him.
‘Bigg Boss 15’
Khan retained his look from the previous season of the show but chose a stubble beard this time. The mint green colour pathani suit worn by him during one of the episodes is remembered even today by his fans for its charming appeal.
‘Bigg Boss 16’
Season 16 of the reality TV show saw the senior actor don two different looks. One with a beard and another where he was clean-shaven. He continued with his tradition of wearing non-western clothes on special occasions and wearing suits on other days.
‘Bigg Boss 17’
The grand premiere of the new season of ‘Bigg Boss’ that started a few days ago had Khan appear in a short hairstyle. He kept his look simple and casual by getting dressed in an all black outfit for most part of the episode. What kind of an overall style will “Bhaijaan” sport in the upcoming episodes needs to be seen.
Salman Khan is certainly one of the most stylish icons in Bollywood. His signature bracelet and sense of fashion will remain popular forever.
