Ayesha Khan’s entry in ‘BB House’
Munawar Faruqui was left shell-shocked when Ayesha Khan, a popular social media personality, entered the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house as a wild card. She made several accusations against Faruqui claiming he had been two-timing with her and his ex-girlfriend Nazila Sitaishi.
The popular stand-up comedian’s game took a severe blow as most housemates seemed to side with Khan leaving Faruqui sidelined. This was until the host of the show Salman Khan came in support of the rapper calling Khan’s entry into the show as a mere publicity stunt.
Both Faruqui and Khan, have shared a bittersweet equation inside the ‘BB House’ and also had a showdown in a recent episode leaving the ‘Lock Upp: Badass Jail, Atyaachari Khel’ winner in regret and tears.
Abhishek Kumar slaps Samarth Jurel
One of the most notorious and surprisingly loved contestant of ‘Bigg Boss 17’ has to be Abhishek Kumar.
The TV star got infamous for his anger and aggression that he has been showing on the programme.
His ex-girlfriend Isha Malviya and her current boyfriend Samarth Jurel who are also contestants on the show have been seen often provoking Kumar with verbal abuses. During one such incident, Jurel was first seen throwing a blanket on the ‘Udaariyaan’ actor and later putting a tissue paper inside his mouth. What came after that was a slap from Kumar towards Jurel, a reaction that was instant without any delay not even for a few seconds, from Kumar’s side. (This point went in favour of the troubled actor as the audience felt he didn’t pre-plan to retaliate violently and his was actually a reaction that came out naturally after getting a tissue paper stuffed in his mouth by Jurel).
However, as a consequence of this action, Kumar was thrown out of the house after fellow contestant Ankita Lokhande Jain used her special power to expel him from the show since she was the captain of the house during that particular week. What followed soon was high drama during the weekend special episode hosted by Salman Khan where he was seen taking Malviya and Jurel to task for provoking Kumar non-stop in order to get some violent reaction from him. Khan asked contestants to vote for Kumar’s re-entry or forever exit from the show.
As the number of people who wanted Kumar back inside the house was more compared to those who didn’t (excluding Malviya and Jurel both of whose vote wasn’t considered), he made a re-entry inside the house. This exercise was seen as a mere formality by Abhishek Kumar’s fans who felt that Khan would have anyway got the vexed actor back into the house irrespective of the result of the voting by the contestants. Isha Malviya and Samarth Jurel haven’t taken Salman Khan’s advice seriously and continue to provoke Abhishek verbally even today.
Family Week in ‘BB House’
Family members of the contestants were seen inside the ‘Bigg Boss House ‘ this week.
All the contestants except Mannara Chopra and Samarth Jurel got emotional on the arrival of their family members and were seen crying. Chopra and Jurel on the other hand were seen smiling seeing their family members in ‘BB House’.

Each family member advised their kin to play their game wisely and ignore provocations of any kind.
Munawar Faruqui’s sister avoiding Ayesha Khan and Isha Malviya’s father giving the cold shoulder to Samarth Jurel were some of the highlights of the family week apart from another contestant Arun Srikanth Mashettey’s child hugging all the contestants warmly during her visit to the ‘BB House’ along with her mother.
Isha Malviya and Vicky Jain schooled by Karan Johar
In Salman Khan’s absence, Karan Johar took upon himself the onus of hosting the ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode. He was seen mercilessly criticising Vicky Jain and Isha Malviya for their questionable actions inside ‘BB House’ in the recent days.
Johar seemed unhappy with Ankita Lokhande Jain’s husband for not supporting her when his mother expressed her dissatisfaction over an incident that took place inside the house where the ‘Pavitra Rishta’ star was seen hurling a slipper at her husband, which the actress later claimed was to be seen in a playful way rather than an action that was disrespectful. Vicky Jain however countered Johar’s claim saying he wasn’t aware of his mother’s statement.
Johar was also seen losing his cool over Malviya when he chided her for taking unnecessary interest in the personal life of Munawar Faruqui and judging him as someone who allegedly used women for his gains by playing with their feelings as seen for example in Ayesha Khan’s case.
The filmmaker asked Malviya whether she has an any rights ethically to point a finger at Faruqui given the fact that she dislikes her personal life being discussed on the show and has had a past too with her ‘Udaariyan’ co-star Abhishek Kumar like how Faruqui has had a past with Ayesha Khan and Nazila outside the ‘BB House.’ Johar later labelled Malviya as someone who has double standards.
An interesting fact to be noted in Kumar and Faruqui’s unique cases on the show is that their popularity has only surged due to their personal lives getting dragged inside the ‘BB House’. Their social media followers have increased tremendously and every social media platform in India is full of debates about either one among Kumar or Faruqui to be the potential winner of ‘Bigg Boss 17’.
