Indian actor Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal are set to tie the knot on 23rd June. However, it appears that not everyone in Sonakshi’s family is pleased with the news.
The dynamics within the Sinha family have come under scrutiny ever since Sonakshi’s father, Shatrughan Sinha, revealed to a news channel that he was unaware of his daughter’s marriage plans. The statement has fueled speculation about familial discord.
Shatrughan Sinha spoke to Times Now and said, “I am in Delhi right now. After the election results, I flew down here. I haven’t spoken to anyone about my daughter’s plans. So your question is, is she getting married? The answer is that she hasn’t told me anything about it. Main bhi utna hi jaanta ho jitna main media maine padha hai [I also know only that much I had read in media]. If and when she takes me into confidence, my wife and I will give the couple my blessings. We wish her all happiness always.”
