Ranbir Kapoor in hot water for hurting religious sentiments in ‘Jai Mata Di’ video
Ranbir Kapoor has landed in hot water for a video, in which he has been accused of hurting religious sentiments.
The man named Sanjay Tiwari, has filed an FIR against the actor who seen at his family Christmas party, in front of a cake. Zahan Kapoor then pours wine over the cake, with Ranbir heard saying, ‘Jai Mata Di’.
The complaint read, “In Hinduism, the fire god is invoked before invoking other deities, but Ranbir Kapoor and his family members deliberately used intoxicants while celebrating the festival of another religion and chanted Jai Mata Di.”
Ranbir has been booked under sections 295 A, 298, 500, and 34.
