Karan Johar to reunite with Shah Rukh Khan for next mega project?
Rumours about superstar Shah Rukh Khan reuniting with friend and filmmaker, Karan Johar, have been doing the rounds for several months.
The duo have been friends for nearly 30 years, since the making of ‘Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge’. After this, the two have been behind some of the biggest blockbusters in the history of Indian cinema. Latest speculation now suggests that the two could be teaming up again after 15 years.
A source was reported saying, “Shah Rukh and Karan are working together again. It is most likely that Shah Rukh’s next project would be the one with Karan. They are throwing various ideas to one another. Karan wants to do an action film with Shah Rukh. Karan has never directed an action film. But SRK has done two back-to-back action films and is not too keen on doing another action film. On the other hand, after Dunki he is not interested any more in doing something experimental either.”

Khan is expected to work on the film this year, for a release in 2025. The conversation the two are said to be having is the genre they will go with. There is industry murmur that it could be an out-and-out action one, unlike previous KJo and SRK films.
