Kangana Ranaut vows to leave Bollywood if she wins Lok Sabha elections

In a recent interview with Aaj Tak, actress Kangana Ranaut announced her intention to leave the Bollywood film industry if she succeeds in her political career by winning the Lok Sabha elections. When asked if she would exit the film industry upon a successful political bid, Ranaut unequivocally responded, “Yes.”

Ranaut elaborated on her decision, sharing her critical view of the film industry. “The film world is a lie, everything there is fake. They create a very different environment. It is a glossy world like a fake bubble which is to attract the audience. This is the reality,” she stated. Ranaut, known for her outspoken nature, expressed her desire for genuine engagement and passion in her endeavors. “I am a very passionate person. I never wanted to do a job because I had to. Even in films, I start writing, and when I get bored of playing a role, I direct or produce, so I have a very fertile mind and I want to be passionately engaged.”

In another interview with ANI, Ranaut mentioned that she cannot leave the industry immediately due to her current film commitments. “I cannot leave the industry right now as many of my films are pending,” she explained.

Ranaut’s statements have stirred significant attention, highlighting her bold stance on her future in Bollywood and her political aspirations. As she continues to balance her film career with her political ambitions, her potential departure from the industry will be closely watched by fans and critics alike.
