Here’s when & where to watch Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Animal’ on OTT
Blockbuster release of 2023 ‘Animal’ is set for its OTT premiere later this month, its been confirmed.

The roaring success of ‘Animal’ surprised many. It witnessed Ranbir Kapoor play the role of a violent angry, Ranvijay Singh, who takes revenge on the assassination attempt on his father. The controversial film also stars Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Tripti Dimri and Rashmika Mandanna.

A son undergoes a remarkable transformation as the bond with his father begins to fracture, and he becomes consumed by a quest for vengeance.

When and Where
The film was a stomping success at the box office. It will now premiere on Netflix, on Friday 26th January. However, this is subject to a legal challenge by Cine1 Studios Private Limited, who co-produced the film. It is in a legal wrangle with producer T-Series over non-payment compliance. It has asked court to halt the film’s OTT premiere until the dues are cleared.
Bonus scenes
Director of the film Sandeep Reddy Vanga has hinted that the OTT version of the film will include bonus scenes, despite the film’s length already around 3 hours and 21 minutes. He said in an interview, “One thing I felt was I should have left the 3 hours 30 minutes instead of 3 hours 21 minutes. I don’t know why I edited those 8-9 minutes. Now, I will be using those 5-6 minutes extra.”
