After London, Sajal Aly & Wahaj Ali’s ‘The Pink Shirt’ to screen in Birmingham & Manchester

Sajal Aly and Wahaj Ali’s much talked about Pakistani web-series ‘The Pink Shirt’ is set to get its official screening in Birmingham and Manchester, just days after it was premiered at the London Indian Film Festival on Friday.

Written by Bee Gul and directed by Kashif Nisar, ‘The Pink Shirt’ formed of eight episodes, will stream exclusively on ZEE5 Global.

The rest of the cast includes Sania Saeed, Rehan Sheikh, Nazish Jehangir and Hamza Firdous.

Realising that their relationship is no longer working, Sophia (Sajal Aly) and Sameer decide it is best to part ways. Sophia tries to keep busy by running a daily series of errands in order to forget the haunting memories of her ex. On one of these errands she bumps into Umer (Wahaj Ali), a handsome young businessman, and sparks fly. As Sophia struggles to cope with the fallout from her broken relationship, she begins to wonder if the best way to move on is to jump straight into a new romance.

‘The Pink Shirt’ will screen on the following two dates during the Birmingham Indian Film Festival and Manchester Indian Film Festival.
